The concept of my tryptich (sp?) was the idea that chairs are a universal invention. The side panels show that no matter what kind of person you are, you still have to sit at a desk and go to school each day. The middle is supposed to explain that just like the concept that everyone goes to school, everyone is also born and everyone gets old and dies. The high chair represents birth, the wheel chair represents old age, and the electric chair represents death.
